Resolution Supporting the NHBCUAAF-GDN Global Partnership as a
Pathway for Youth Leadership, Education, and Global Black Advancement
WHEREAS, faith communities have historically played a vital role in advancing education, justice, moral leadership, civic responsibility, community uplift, and the development of future generations; and
WHEREAS, HBCU students and alumni represent a powerful source of future leadership in ministry, education, business, public service, law, media, entrepreneurship, technology, civic life, and global affairs; and
WHEREAS, churches, clergy, ministerial alliances, faith-based organizations, and community ministries have a continuing responsibility to support young people as they prepare for leadership, service, economic participation, and moral engagement in the world; and
WHEREAS, the NHBCUAAF-GDN Global partnership seeks to connect HBCU students, alumni, faith communities, civic organizations, businesses, and public leaders to a shared mission of education, mentorship, media visibility, student advancement, and global Black leadership;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that ________________________________ endorses the mission of the NHBCUAAF-GDN Global partnership as a meaningful pathway for youth leadership, HBCU student advancement, alumni engagement, civic education, and Black global economic participation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this faith community supports efforts to connect HBCU students and alumni to mentorship, internships, public education, media development, workforce pathways, The Economic Liberation of Africa, the AU Sixth Region, and RoFR education.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this faith community may support the partnership by sharing information, hosting briefings, promoting student participation, supporting mentorship, connecting partners, and encouraging members to submit individual statements of support.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this faith community authorizes its name to be listed as an endorsing supporter, subject to its internal approval process and public endorsement permissions.
